Skin&Co Roma is a higher-end bath and body brand that can be found at major Ulta locations, LOOK Boutiques, Chemistry Cosmetics, as well as other places around the world. As an international organic skincare brand, and being featured in the Fall 2018 Fab Fit Fun box, I wanted to dig deeper into their cruelty-free status. An international cruelty-free skincare brand would be huge for the cruelty-free movement.
I reached out to Skin&Co directly to speak with them regarding their cruelty-free status. They quickly responded to me and gave me the details on whether or not their brand is 100% cruelty-free. I have received permission to share their response below.
Good afternoon Stephanie,Thank you for reaching out to us and inquiring about our products. Below is answers to your questions, we hope this helps with any concerns you might have about our brand.1. Does Skin&Co test products or ingredients on animals anywhere in production? No animal testing.
2. Does Skin&Co ingredient suppliers test on animals? If not, do you require verification from them? We are a European brand, manufactured in Italy and EU certified. By this standard animal testing is illegal.
3. Are your products sold in markets that require animal testing by law? No.
4. Do you sell to distributors that test on animals or sell your products in markets where animal testing is required by law? No.
5. Do you allow third party testing on your behalf? No.
