I’ve rounded up the products I have been using the most this winter season to keep my skin hydrating and glowing! Winter in Wisconsin is the real deal so I always need that extra TLC, especially in my moisturizers. Everything is 100% cruelty-free, including the parent company, and also vegan-friendly.

When doing makeup, I always want to have a good foundation that won’t clog pores or dry out my skin. So I use this foundation and it seriously makes my skin look airbrushed and flawless! This brand is quickly becoming my favorite for all my base makeup products. I may have to do an entire post just on my favorites from them!
But before I apply makeup, I need skincare skincare skincare, especially in the colder months. This vitamin C serum firms my skin, increases elasticity and protects against free radicals that damage my skin. I then layer it with the absolute best moisturizer for cold weather. It keeps my skin SUPER extra hydrated, and I’m so much more comfortable throughout the day because of it. The moisturizer is also lightweight and layers very well under makeup. You can’t go wrong with this duo!
And now that I have a new pup, this LED travel mirror has been seriously SO convenient! It has three different light settings so you can always have perfect lighting, no matter where you are. I use this mirror to do my makeup in the morning at the kitchen table so I can watch my dog at the same time! (She also thinks I can play with her at the same time haha. Just call me super dog mom.) It’s also great for traveling and taking on the plane with you! I brought it with me to Michigan to get ready for NYE!
I have had my eyes on this curling wand set for yearrrsss and I finally took the plunge and ordered it. Honestly, I wish I had bought it sooner! It really is as good as everyone says, and my curls last for days! Instead of heat styling my hair everyday, I just do it once in between washes and it lasts the whole time. It is also on sale for almost 50% off until 1/1!
What is your favorite item? Do you have a favorite way to do your makeup when you’re traveling this time of year? Everything is linked in the photo caption!

Good day
I’ve recently change my beauty products ( make up/ lotions / toners / serums all of them ) to Cruelty free products. I currently use The Body shop but apparently the product is not strong enough to prevent ageing.
The list you have is not familiar in South Africa. Can you please advise me which Brand I can use that is available in South Africa ?
Thank you so much.
