Cruelty-Free Bath and Body Brands

Updated 7/22/2019

When looking for cruelty-free brands, do you include your bath and body products? I recently just began thinking about this myself and realized that I should create a list of 100% cruelty-free brands that offer bath and body products.

In order for a brand to be on a Free The Bunnies cruelty-free list, the brand must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  1. They do not test on animals during any part of production
  2. They do not order materials from any third party vendor who tests on animals
  3. They do not have third parties test their products on animals on their behalf
  4. They do not sell their products in countries that require animal testing (i.e. mainland China)
  5. They are not owned by a parent company who tests on animals

In the following list, bath and body products include:

Hair Care, Hair Dye, Bath Soap, Bubble Bath/Bath Bombs, Body Wash, Shave Products, Deodorants, Lotions/Body Butters, Body Scrubs

I have categorized them into Hair Care, Bath Care and Body Care for all your bath and body needs. To jump to the category you are looking for, Press Ctrl + F on Windows or Command + F on a Mac to open a search box. Type in the category you wish to find and hit “Enter” and your browser should scroll to it automatically.

Hair Care

Bath Care – Body Wash, Soaps, Bath Bombs…

Body Care – Body Lotions, Body Butters, Body Scrubs, Deodorants, Shaving…

My daughter uses Mixed Chicks and Kreyol Essence, first hair care that works for her. Can you provide some insight. They have a bunny logo on their bottles. Thank you for all your research.

The Ordinary is owned by a non-cruelty-free parent company so they are not listed as a 100% cruelty-free brand.

        What? Nooooo!
Looks like I’ll be switching to Lush.
I don’t recognize most of the other brands. Not sure if they’re maybe just not available where I live.

I do have a full cruelty-free brands list. I would love to add you to the list! Would we be able to get in contact and discuss your cruelty-free status?
