First, there are SO many cruelty-free mini products out there, and it’s so awesome! But I’m going to share with you what I bring along with me on my trips that are all TSA approved and perfect for traveling light with beauty products.
The Ultimate Cruelty-Free Beauty Travel Guide
Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash:
For shampoo and conditioner, nothing beats buying some empty mini travel bottles to fill up with your favorite cruelty-free shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. It’s super easy, affordable and the bottles are reusable. You can use them for literally anything when you travel. I love using these for my shower items because most of the time, you’ll only see minis of L’Oreal, Herbal Essences, or Dove, and those are big brands to AVOID in a cruelty-free lifestyle. Mini travel bottles you can fill up yourself are definitely the way to go for these items. Here’s what I use if you want to check it out!
Skincare:
Skincare is SUPER easy when it comes to finding minis for your cruelty-free favorites. Almost every skincare brand has minis in some fashion. Here’s what I use for my skincare routine when I travel:
Face Wash: Derma E Cleansing Wipes and Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser
Cleansing wipes are a serious dupe and super easy travel essential for cleaning off your makeup! Derma-E‘s is a great biodegradable option!
Eye Cream:
Almost all, if not all, eye creams are small enough to be TSA approved. Click *here* for a full list of 100% cruelty-free eye creams.
Face Serum: Glow Recipe Pineapple C Bright Serum
I always want to bring a brightening serum with me when I travel. My skin seems especially dull when I travel, so it’s an essential for me. Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic Serum is a more affordable option!
Face Moisturizer: Acure Beauty Mattifying Moisturizer
Acure Beauty’s moisturizers are a great option because they are already in mini tubes. They have a wide range of creams and moisturizers so you can easily choose the one that works for your skin type.
And that’s it. Only five skincare items to clean, brighten, and moisturize my skin when I travel! I also sometimes bring along the Bliss That’s Incredi-Peel Facial Pads too, which also don’t count towards your liquids. I just slip a few of them in my bag, and I’m good to go!
Body care:
I bring three body care items with me when I travel: Deodorant, Body Cream, and Perfume.
Deodorant: Zion Health
They have minis of all of their deodorants and they are perfect for travel. Zion Health’s deodorants are all natural and they are the one natural deodorant that works for me. I highly recommend them!
Body Cream: Sol De Janeiro Acai Body Power Cream
Sol De Janeiro has minis of all of their body creams, whether you love Bum Bum, Acai, or their new Coco Cabana cream. The minis are perfect little travelers.

Makeup:
For makeup, I just bring my normal items. Personally, I don’t put them in a plastic bag and I always get through security. If you’re not comfortable with this, there are mini versions of so much makeup, that I suggest looking on the brand’s website!
Hair:
For hair products besides shower items, I bring along a mini Detox Dry Shampoo from Dry Bar and my normal hair brush from Con Air. Conair also does make mini hair brushes that you can find in Ulta or your local department store!
