there are loads of creulty free brands at a sallys. at my small shop we have kemon, wundabar, wella, sienna x and much more. i wonder if this may be a difference between usa and uk stores.
Ion is also cruelty free!
I am wondering this as well because i had to stop using potion 9 when i went cruelty free and duping it is not going well.
Don’t forget J. Cat, Eva NYC, Orly, and Arctic Fox!
Thank you for letting me know they can be found at Sally too!
I was wondering what your stance on “in store” brands are? Like Sally’s has the Generic Products line, that I don’t think test on animals, but are copying products that are sometimes not cruelty free?
I think what you’re asking is if it’s okay to buy cruelty-free brands at Sally’s when Sally’s also sells non-cruelty-free brands? Whether the brand is sold in stores or online, everything is on a brand by brand basis. So if Sally sells cruelty-free and non-cruelty-free brands, you can still shop the cruelty-free brands in Sally’s and be cruelty-free. Sally’s is just a distributor, much like any grocery store that sells vegan products and meat products. Does that answer your question?
Their generic line is not vegan or cruelty free
there are so many more vegan and cruelty free brands at sally beauty than this, this list is correct, yes. but they offer so many more options than this and even have a cruelty/vegan section for hair care, and all four makeup brands carried are cruelty free along with most of the nail polish brands offered. also i’d like to note that ONLY manic panic is on here when they also sell arctic fox and all ion is cruelty free and have many vegan options as well. I’d be happy to compile a full list so you can update this post, i work there and can verify this information.
These were the only brands I could find at my Sally’s and on their website that are 100% cruelty free. So if you have more, I’d love to add them!
Is Generic Value Products cruelty free?
I have not yet been able to verify them as a 100% cruelty-free brand.
I’ve tried contacting the store regarding Sally’s generic line. They couldn’t even tell me. So if anyone can find out that would be great!!
