One product that we all seem to use often is lip balm. The options for lip balm are endless, and sometimes we don’t think about our lip balm ever being tested on animals, but some lip balms still are. As always, I want to make choosing cruelty-free as easy as possible, so I have compiled a list of 100% cruelty-free lip balms and lip scrubs that are also vegan-friendly.
In order for a brand to be on this cruelty-free list, it must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- They do not test on animals during any part of production
- They do not order materials from any third party vendor who tests on animals
- They do not have third parties test their products on animals on their behalf
- They do not sell their products in countries that require animal testing (i.e. mainland China)
- They are not owned by a parent company who tests on animals
