Bliss is a well-known skincare brand that offers a wide range of skincare products. Bliss can be found at Ulta or Target and they offer skincare, body care and more. But are they cruelty-free? When Bliss first launched, they sold in markets that require animal testing by law, so they were not cruelty-free. They reached out to me to try some of their products so I have been working on determining if they are now a cruelty-free brand or not.
After my research, I figured I would let you know what I found. Keep reading to see if Bliss is now cruelty-free.
Is Bliss Cruelty-Free?
Yes! Bliss is 100% cruelty-free. They pulled out of the Chinese market this summer in 2018 and have since become PETA-certified cruelty-free. This is such exciting news and a positive change!
Does Bliss Sell in China?
No! It does not sell in China. They pulled out of the Chinese market to become a cruelty-free brand. They also stopped all animal testing they were conducting previously to become PETA-certified. Thankfully!
Does Bliss Choose Only Cruelty-Free Suppliers?
Yes! Bliss only has cruelty-free ingredient suppliers. This is part of the requirement to obtain PETA certification.
Is Bliss Owned By A ‘Cruel’ Parent Company?
No! Bliss is happily privately owned as is not owned by a parent company that tests on animals.
I think we’ve covered all of our bases here. Bliss has been happily added to the Free The Bunnies Cruelty-Free Brands List, which you can find here.
Bliss also has a wide range of vegan products within their brand. To find a vegan products list for Bliss, follow the link here. You can shop for Bliss products at Ulta or at Blissworld.com.
