Is Truly Organic Cruelty-Free?

Truly Organic was founded by two love birds who enjoyed traveling the world. They were driven to create a skincare brand that was the offspring of their wonderful travels together. They formed a brand that now offers products of the future, bringing what the founders believe to be the highest standard of health, quality and ethics that all brands should have. Each product is a little piece of their travels and they make every product fresh to order with the most fresh ingredients available during that time.

I was very intrigued by Truly Organic with their strong presence in the Instagram world and now at Ulta Beauty. You may recognize the brand for their heart shaped pimple patches, unicorn fruit moisturizer, or their swirly jar and tube packaging. I just had to find out more about this brand and a long the way, asked them directly about their cruelty-free status. Below is the reply email I received from their co-founder.

Hi Stephanie, We’d love to answer your questions and be part of the cruelty-free database! 

1. Does the brand test your products on animals at any point in production? No we do not

2. Are the brand’s ingredients tested on animals? How do you verify this?

No they are not, we only work with select US based ingredient suppliers who verify they are not involved in animal testing in any capacity.  This is something we take very seriously.

3. Does the brand outsource any animal testing to a third party? No

4. Is the brand sold in countries that require animal testing by law? No it is not

5. Is the brand owned by a parent company? If so, please state who. No, my fiance an I own 100% of the company

So, is Truly Organic Cruelty-Free?

Yes, Truly Organic is 100% cruelty-free per the Free The Bunnies standard. And in 2019, they received their Leaping Bunny certification! I am extremely excited to be adding Truly Organic to the cruelty-free database.
